Sacrofano, in addition to be a welcoming country for its appearance, is also a favorite destination for culinary tourism due to the large number of restaurants it houses. 1) Uno dei Ristoranti più famosi di Sacrofano è senza dubbio il "Ristorante al Grottino", in attività dal 1957 che pero, da recensioni varie e discordanti, sembra che non si sia messo al passo coi tempi, nel senso che la cucina lascia il tempo che trova, il servizio scadente, non vi è la carta del menù e sopratutto a volte non accettano carte di credito per problemi tecnici.QUI maggiori info


1) One of the most popular restaurants in Sacrofano is undoubtedly the "Restaurant Al Grottino, in business since 1957 which, however between various reviews, it seems that they have not put up with the times, in the sense that the way of cooking isn't the best you would take, the service is poor, there aren't menus and above all some times do not accept credit cards technical problems. 2) "Da Tonino". Molto bello il ristorante in se, d'effetto sicuramente all'ingresso che all'uscita a causa dei conti un pò salati. Offre menù fissi per assaggiare tutte le specialità della casa. La pasta esce velocemente, la carne alla brace idem, l'assaggio di cinghiale alla cacciatora sà di posticcio, il vino della casa non è male. QUI maggiori info


2) "Da Tonino". Very nice restaurant itself, certainly having an effect when you get in it, as well when you leave it becouse of it's salty bills. It offers menus to taste all the specialties of the house. The pastas come out quite quickly, is the same for grilled meat, the taste of wild boar knows false but the house wine is not bad. 3) La Collina, decisamente molto bello, in vetta a Sacrofano, propone cucina regionale di buon livello, ha un atmosfera molto famigliare ed è immerso nel verde. Qui maggiori info.

4) Lo Chalet, ristorante-pizzeria di buon livello, offre cucina tipica casereccia con fettuccine fatte in casa deliziose da abbinare a diversi condimenti altrettanto strepitosi, il tutto in le porzioni abbondanti. Gli antipasti sono decisamente soddisfacenti. Di carne ce n'è, in tutte le salse, da bistecche di qualità ai ferri alle costarelle d'abbacchio fritte. 4) Lo Chalet, a good standard restaurant-pizzeria , offers homemade cuisine with delicious homemade noodles served with various condiments equally sensational, all in generous portions. The starters are quite satisfactory. Meat there is, in many different ways, from grilled steaks to Costarelle quality of lamb fries. The atmosphere is friendly, the bill a bit salty but feasible for the quality of the food and friendliness of employees. More info HERE.





5) Lo menziono adesso per motivi cronologici ma è sicuramente il miglior ristorante che Sacrofano abbia mai visto: Re Desiderio è finalmente un ristorante tra le tante trattorie, la qualità dei cibi è altissima, la cantina molto ben fornita ed un atmosfera accogliente e rilassante. 5) The mention now for historical reasons but is definitely the best restaurant that I've ever seen in Sacrofano: Re Desire is now a restaurant among the many trattorias, the food quality is very high, the very well stocked cellar and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 6) La Scaletta è un ristorante pizzeria situata accanto al Monumento ai Caduti di sacrofano, si chiama così per le tre scalette che bisogna scendere per accedervi. Cucina discreta che offre pietanze regionali tipiche. QUI maggiori info.

7) Il Torrione è rimasta l'unica pizzeria a mantenere i prezzi moderati, buona la pizza e gustosa la birra alla spina, situato nei sotterranei del paese medioevale, a gestione familiare offre un ambiente rilassato e divertente. QUI maggiori info.

8) La Serenissima Park Hotel è l'unico hotel a Sacrofano. Tariffe vantaggiose per essere un 4 stelle, è immerso nel verde e relativamente vicino alla stazione del treno che collega Sacrofano a Roma. Tuttavia gli ospiti automuniti apprezzeranno maggiormente il soggiorno all'hotel. Buono anche il ristorante. QUI maggiori info. 

8) The Park Hotel Serenissima is the only hotel in Sacrofano. It has Low rates for a 4-star hotel, it's surrounded by nature and relatively close to the train station that connects Sacrofano to Rome. However, motorized guests will surely better enjoy residency. The restaurant is also good.
